Why go to a travel agency?

If you use a travel agent, they can often extend that time without the ticket costing extra. So instead of rushing through, for example, Amsterdam or Madrid, you can have a few good days in the interesting cities on the way out, and have the shortest possible flight connection on the way back.
Get more flexibility with a travel agent
You can often travel on a youth ticket if you are under 26 or a student under 35. It opens up a world of possibilities if you book through a travel agent, because they can sometimes secure you tickets that you can change without having to pay fees. This means that you have gained a lot of extra freedom on your journey.
If you find a cool place, then you can stay a few days extra, and if you had missed that it was rainy season, then you might be able to get away sooner.
Cheaper luggage or space than with online purchases
It can be cheaper to buy a regular airline ticket from a travel agency than online if you have luggage and seats purchased.
