Thailand's new chapter: A new way forward for tourism

There's a lot going on in it Thailand right now.

The Land of Smiles has spent the last while reinventing itself as a tourist country, and now they are ready with open arms and welcoming tourists again after a few challenging years with quarantine and shutdowns.

The Thai tourism organisation, the Tourism Authorities of Thailand (TAT), is breathing brand new life into Thai tourism with the 'Amazing New Chapters' campaign, which, with inspiration from Danish – and Nordic – tourists, has set a goal of strengthening sustainability og responsible tourism.

The editors listened to it RejsRejsRejs much more about this year's first road show in the Nordics, which TAT had arranged, where we got an insight into how active work is being done to create meaningful trips to Thailand.

There really are a lot of new initiatives brought together in the 'Amazing New Chapters' campaign. Some of the initiatives have a major focus on Volunteering and the non-profit organization Socialgiver which you can help support.

Help start supporting sustainable tourism in Thailand and 'Amazing New Chapters', and give your input in our poll further down in the article.
