CopenHill, also known as Amager Bakke, is a good example of a multifunctional building. It houses an incineration plant, a year-round ski slope, hiking trails and a cafe. From the top of the building, the view of the city from the Amager side is fantastic. There is free access to the top of the hill either via stairs or an elevator. In Nordhavn you have the opportunity to look out over the city and the Øresund while you do pull-ups and the kids swing from the top of a 24-meter-high parking garage. Here is the modern, public park Konditaget Lüders namely located. It is free to go up to the roof, which is open weekdays from 7:00-22:00.

Museums in the sky – rooftop in Copenhagen with culture

The Glyptotheque
When you have paid entrance to the beautiful, classical museum Glyptoteket and need a break from the sculptures and paintings, on fine weather days you can go up to the terrace. From this rooftop you have a 360 degree view from Tivoli to the medieval city and modern Copenhagen.

Danish Architecture Center
The Danish Architecture Center is located in the BLOX building, and at the top you will find the DAC Café. It consists of two terraces, and the view from both is fantastic. From one side you can enjoy the Copenhagen Harbor and on the other side Christiansborg and the Medieval City. There are parasols and greenhouses on the terrace, so you can come out in all kinds of weather. You have to pay admission to the museum to get up to the café.
