It is almost 8.300 km2 large Ngorongoro area contains 30.000 animals, including i.a. 7.000 buffaloes, 4.000 zebras and 6.000 gazelles. In addition, Ngorongoro is also one of the places in the world with the densest population of lions. If you are interested in birds, more than 500 different bird species have been registered.
