That is why we write about travel, even though it is difficult to travel in this Corona time is a comment by Jacob Gowland Jørgensen

Travel passion and illness Corona - travel

Illness does not remove our desire to travel

Corona is upon us, and it is an epidemic that must be respected and supported by the obvious measures that can minimize it, while at the same time thinking about it.

So why keep writing about travel when it's so difficult right now with the Corona epidemic?

It's very simple: there are still many who have a great desire to travel. And there are many who still dream of traveling to experience the world - and our own country, when it becomes safe enough to do so.

We can see this in the number who read our travel articles and are active in our travel community. There are as many as the same time last year. We just read about something else, and discuss other topics. And there are many who actively encourage us to continue, because they also need to think outside the four walls of the house.

There are also many Danish travel agencies out there who right now need an online hug in the middle of their biggest nightmare. Their bookings are plummeting due to Corona and they have large expenses to cover cancellations and deal with the crisis.

Even though there are large support packages, they are out in a fight without equal to help all their customers well home, and well on. They've been in it since the spring, and they're still in that fight while they have to fire employees.

So therefore we continue in spite of Corona

Therefore, we keep telling about all the great experiences out there, and with showing travel offers on this page and in our offer group. So you can dream about where you could go at some point and so you can see what the travel agents can offer once this is over.

Among other things, we tell about places that have survived epidemics, revolutions, wars and much other crap and good, inclusive the unique World Heritage Sites. Which you need to remember to put on your list of dream travel destinations.

Fortunately, there is also one number of places where you can travel safely. The world is not quite as closed as the media often makes it out to be.

So good reading and dream now abundantly. Take care of each other out there.
