2 year birthday: It happened there

These days it's been 2 years since that RejsRejsRejs went in the air!

In the meantime, there have been more than 600 travel articles, 50 newsletters, 800 Facebook posts, 500 Instagram and Pinterest posts and much more good across 8 channels!

We have over 100 partners in the form of travel agencies, tourist agencies, marketing agencies and several fantastic start-ups, and we have over 60 talented writers who write for us.

In the 2 years in total, we have reached a few million people (!) With our tips for traveling better, traveling more and traveling sustainably, and we often get top reviews for the editorial work we do.

We are really proud of that.

So thank you to all of you who follow, like and comment. Thank you for sharing our post and inviting your friends into the heat. Thank you to all of you who have contributed great content as a writer or as an indispensable part of the team.

We are grateful right down to the bone for the support that has been and we will do everything we can to live up to it in the future as well. Of course, there have also been bumps in our path and financial challenges, but they have so far been overshadowed by all the great experiences and feedback.

We are entering our 3rd year with a bang of an editorial team. As of this week, we have also become a partner in “AKA start-up”, and have therefore just moved into nice rooms with a view of the Palace in Copenhagen.

We have - as usual - a lot of ideas on how we can help you have an even better travel life.

For example, we would like to meet you in real life, we would like an app, we would like to help those who want to travel more solo, we would like to make more travel articles about choosing the right destination and we would like to give you more travel deals. And not least, we'll do more of what makes sense to you. Therefore, we look forward to hearing from you on our Facebook page and not least in the Facebook group.

Because we are here to make a real difference, and that is what we are passionate about as traveled and travel-loving people.

Jacob Jørgensen, editor

Jacob is a cheerful travel geek who has traveled in more than 100 countries from Rwanda and Romania to Samoa and Samsø.

Jacob is a member of De Berejstes Klub, where he has been a board member for five years, and he has extensive experience in the world of travel as a lecturer, magazine editor, adviser, writer and photographer. And, of course, most importantly: As a traveller. Jacob enjoys both traditional travel such as a car holiday to Norway, a cruise in the Caribbean and a city break in Vilnius, and more out-of-the-box trips such as a solo trip to the highlands of Ethiopia, a road trip to unknown national parks in Argentina and a friend trip to Iran.

Jacob is a country expert in Argentina, where he has been 10 times so far. He has spent almost a year in total traveling through the many diverse provinces, from the penguin land in the south to deserts, mountains and waterfalls in the north, and has also lived in Buenos Aires for a few months. In addition, he has special travel knowledge of such diverse places as East Africa, Malta and the countries around Argentina.

In addition to travelling, Jacob is an honorable badminton player, Malbec fan and always up for a board game. Jacob has also had a career in the communications industry for a number of years, most recently with the title of Communication Lead in one of Denmark's largest companies, and has also worked for several years with the Danish and international meeting industry as a consultant, e.g. for VisitDenmark and Meeting Professionals International (MPI). Today, Jacob is also a senior lecturer at CBS.
